2019: IG sends extra AIGs, CPs in Ogun, Lagos, different states

In front of the presidential decisions on Saturday, the acting Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has sent extra Assistant Inspectors-General of Police and Commissioners of Police in Ogun, Lagos and different states of the federation.

It was accumulated that the officers were to supplement the direction Commissioners of Police on the ground.

AIG Moses Jitoboh would assume responsibility of activities at Zone 7, Abuja, while AIG David Folawiyo would be in control at Zone 2, Lagos.

AIG Maurice Yusuf has been sent to Zone 12 Bauchi, Abdul Danwawu to Zone 3, Yola; Karma Hassan to Zone 10, Sokoto, Peter Ogunsanwo to Force Headquarters; Murtala Mani, Zone 6, Calabar and Zanna Ibrahim, Zone 1, Kano.

In Ogun State, CP Ahmed Illyasu is relied upon to assume responsibility of the general security in the state while the recently posted CPs, Olafimihan Adeoye, Agunbiade Lasore and Olushola David are to direct election security in Ogun West, East and Central senatorial areas, individually.

The rundown further demonstrated that CP Intelligence, Jona Jackson had been presented on Kwara Central Senatorial District; Joseph Mukim, Kwara West Senatorial District; Ibrahim Kabiru, Kaduna North; Titus Lamorde, Cross River North; Yuna Babas, Imo East; Muazu Halilu, Kogi Central; Mohammed Kura, Ekiti South, Lawal Ado, Rivers Central and Alex Opara, Rivers East.

Others are Maigana Sanni, Rivers South; Akpan Nkeruwen, Delta North; Mobolaji Olaniyi, Delta Central; Ndatsu Mohammed, Delta South; Uche Anozia, Edo North; Olugbenga Adeyanju, Edo South; Edna Ugbubor, Edo Central; Posi Ajuwa, Ekiti South-West; Ajala Olasupo, Taraba South; Abang John, Niger North; Aminu Koji, Bayelsa East; Felix Gani, Anambra South; Onyeagoro Chijoke, Anambra North and Habu Ahmadu, Ebonyi North.
