2019 presidential election: APC defeats PDP in Bauchi

The All Progressives Congress has defeated the Peoples Democratic Party in the just-concluded presidential election in Bauchi State, while APC polled 798,428 votes against PDP who won 209,313 votes.

The State Collation officer, Prof. Alhassan Ghani, announced the result after collation from the 20 local government areas of the state on Tuesday in Bauchi.

Total No: Reg Voters: 2,453,512

Total No: of Accredited: 1,075,330

Total Votes Cast: 1,061,955

Total Valid Votes: 1,024,307

Rejected Votes: 37,648

He added that out of which APC scored 798,428 votes and PDP scored 209,313 votes.

He commended the electorate, stakeholders and party agents for the peaceful elections, commitment, and cooperation throughout the exercise.

The results were accepted by Col. Umaru Tilde (rtd) and Alhaji Salihu Yau, agents of the APC and PDP and they both signed the documents on behalf of their parties.
