2020 WAEC: FG confirms August 4th to begin WASSCE

The Federal Government has announced that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will take place between August 4 to September 5, 2020.

Minister of State for Education, Prof. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba disclosed this during the daily press briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Monday.

The Minister further added that NECO and NABTEB exam dates would be announced in the coming months.

InsideOjodu had earlier reported that WAEC debunked examination timetable circulating in Nigeria on social media over the weekend.

But with this recent update, it looks as though the federal government has seen through the plight of students.
