2023: Buhari reveals planned legacies for Nigeria at UNGA

With few months to handover his government, President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed the legacies he would like to leave behind the when he finally leaves office after the 2023 general elections.

Buhari stated this on Wednesday in New York at  the general debate of the 77th UN General Assembly.

Buhari said he desires to leave behind a legacy of a free, fair, transparent and credible election through which Nigerians can elect their choice of president.

“As President, I have set a goal that one of the legacies I would like to leave is to entrench a process of free, fair and transpiring credible election to which Nigerians elect their choice.

“Mr President, the multiple challenges that face us are truly inter-connected and urgent,” he added.
