2023 UTME: JAMB urges candidates to print exam notification slips before Monday

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has urged the 2023 main UTME candidates to print their examination notification slips from 20th April 2023.

The notification slip would contain the candidate’s exam location, date, and time, as well as additional details required to take the 2023 UTME, which starts on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

In a statement on Friday, the board’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, announced the start of the 2023 UTME and instructed all candidates to print their examination notification slips before or on April 24, 2023, by visiting https://www.jamb.gov.ng, and click on “2023 UTME SLIP PRINTING” on the menu bar to know the venue and time of their examination.

Benjamin pointed out that the information on the slip would make it simple for candidates to find their testing centers.

Furthermore, as the start time for the exam listed on the notification slips is sacred, candidates are recommended to find their centers before the day of their examination to avoid arriving late.

However, the board advised applicants against bringing restricted items inside the testing rooms, including watches, calculators, flash drives, and phones, among others.

The examination board also restated its zero tolerance for examination malpractice.
