22,000 officers deployed in Lagos for general elections – Police

The Lagos State Police Command said it has deployed a total of 22, 000 police officers for the monitoring of the 2023 general elections in the state.

An Assistant Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Oludotun Odubona stated this in an interview, on Arise TV on Friday less than 24hrs before the 2023 poll for the Presidential position.

According to him, customs officers, fire service, police, and other Federal government security agencies will be deployed in the state in other to ensure a free, fair, and credible election in the state.

Odubona said the officials have been well trained and urged not to be partisan while discharging their duties for the success of the election on Saturday.
