33 religious centres, social facilities sealed in Lagos

33 religious and social facilities have been sealed for operating against the Lagos state established COVID-19 reopening protocols by the Lagos State Safety Commission.

The Director-General of the agency, Mr Lanre Mojola, confirmed this in a statement on Sunday.

Mojola noted that the facilities sealed included bars, lounges, restaurants, gyms, and spas.

According to him, the enforcement exercise affirmed that the state would not hesitate to deal with erring or non-compliant facilities.

He, further, added that the state had zero tolerance for establishments that continued to violate the state regulations and laws.
