The first Civilian Governor of old Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, is dead.
Former Kaduna-Central Senator, Shehu Sani confirmed his death via Twitter on Wednesday morning.
“Alhaji Balarabe Musa has died. May Allah forgive his soul and grant him Aljanna Firdausi. Amin,” Sani tweeted.
Musa, a left-wing politician, was elected Governor of Kaduna during the Second Republic.
He held office from October 1979 until he was impeached on 23 June, 1981.
Born 21 August 1936, the elderstateman died in Kaduna at 84.
