National Vice Chairman, South-South of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Olorogun Andrew Okagbere, has faulted the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of postponing the presidential and National Assembly elections with All Progressives Congress, APC’s interest at heart.
Responding to the postponement, Okagbere said INEC played on the intelligent of Nigerians by postponing the election less than six hours to its commencement.
He said: “If they think they are doing it to protect one political party, they better stop it.
“If they think they are not ready or the party is not ready, they should stop it. We know they are doing this because of the areas where APC will not run for governorship, as decided by the courts.
“If INEC wanted to postpone the election, they had the last one week to do that, not allowing people to travel long distances only to come out by 2a.m. and announced postponement. It is uncalled for.”
