Job Duties
A marketing agent typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Building a rapport with clients by listening to their needs and identifying their wants and desires
- Conducting market research to identify potential new markets for products or services
- Assisting in creating brochures, flyers, advertisements, and other promotional materials for products or services
- Developing and implementing marketing plans for clients’ products or services, such as social media campaigns or website development
- Maintaining contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction with products or services
- Preparing proposals to help clients develop strategies to promote their products or services
- Managing client relationships and maintaining records of communications with clients or potential clients
- Reviewing market trends and competition, and recommending changes to existing marketing strategies accordingly
- Developing long-term relationships with clients based on trust and mutual respect
Requirements
- B.Sc./ HND in any of the Social Sciences
- 5+ years of experience in sales
