KEY PURPOSE OF JOB
- The HR Services Manager will assist to provide high quality leadership and manage an effective and efficient HR service delivery that includes among others; policy formulation and review, maintenance of company HRIS, employee relations and engagement and a Total Reward system (Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
RECRUITMENT
- Ensures Offer Letters are prepared and advices all prospective candidates accordingly.
- Responsible for carrying out reference /medical checks.
- Manages probationary period and confirmations.
- Responsible for all operational procedures and registration of new employees.
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION
- Executes payroll accounting and reconciliation.
- Generates monthly reports and SLAs for payroll
- Manages processing of statutory deductions and remittance of data to finance for payments to institutions and retirees.
- To input to payroll systems against new compensation cycle, new collective Bargaining agreement (if applicable), Time and Attendance data / payment related calculations for payroll accuracy
- To process statutory deductions report and remit to finance for pay-outs i.e., tax, National Social Security, Pension, Co-operatives, etc.
- Provides ad-hoc data and supplementary reports as required from time to time
WORKFORCE ADMINISTRATION
- Customer Service – Employee Queries, References and Statements through company HRIS
- Administers all HR processes related to the employee life cycle (e.g., promotion, relocating, resignation etc.) whilst being custodian of HR policy and ensuring compliance.
- Keep custody of HR policies, processes (process maps) and other legal documents
- Maintain IR related files and information by updating files with changes i.e., employee files, case files, collective bargaining files.
- Provide records and information data during negotiation meetings, court cases, management meetings etc.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Plans and directs programs relating to compensation and benefits, including policies, objectives, initiatives and the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of these programs.
- Evaluates competitiveness of present programs through research, surveys and trend analysis leading to appropriate recommendations.
- Champions the consistent administration of the Company’s compensation and benefit programs in compliance with approved company policies and governmental regulations.
Requirements:
- A good University Degree in any of the Social Sciences or its equivalent.
- A minimum of 8 years post graduate experience in Human Resource preferably in an administrative role
- Communication planning and change management experience
- Experience on outsourcing management or managing services delivery contracts.
- Key Knowledge in Compensation & Benefits, Data Analytics and Payroll Management.
- Experience in Expatriate Management and Employee Relations are high requirements for this role.
- Relevant Professional HR Qualifications is an added advantage.
