Job Overview:

  • The Business Strategy Manager sets the communication strategy for advertising campaigns, establishes the goals and objectives, target audience, message and tone in which the campaign should be delivered.

Job Description:

  • Gain a comprehensive context for advertising strategies by analyzing a wide range of information in detail, including demographics, socio-economics and the market for the client’s product and market share.
  • Run qualitative research groups; using a variety of market research data to monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers’ attitudes, behaviors, and perception.
  • Find an ‘angle’ on a specific product or service on which to base an advertising campaign.
  • Research the product or service to be advertised, which may involve gaining technical or specific knowledge
  • Develops innovative ways of channel management to optimize advertising spend in a way to better reach consumers.
  • Reconcile the differences between consumers’ current perception of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived.
  • Liaise with clients to identify specific business problems and develop ideas
  • Provides the creative team with a clearly defined brief that contains concise information on the product, audience, and strategy
  • Present conclusions and ideas to clients and other agency staff.
  • Analyze and interpret customer response and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.

Qualification & Experience:

  • 4 – 5 years’ core/progressive experience in Business Strategy and Account Planning.
  • Interest in and aptitude for creative business and marketing solutions
  • B.A, B.Sc., in relevant discipline
