Head of Finance
We requires the service of Head of Finance. You will be responsible for the creation and drives all financial strategies within the Church and oversees all financial transactions and ensures the control systems in place are effective and adhered to and report directly to Head of Operations..
Job Responsibilities
- Financial,Planning/budgeting and controlling/monitoring, Compliance, Risk management, Team Management, Audit Control etc.
- To implement the policy & procedures relating to financial management, accounting and budget planning and to improve the quality of Church operations
- To plan, direct and coordinate the implementation of effective accounting and financial administration policies, procedures and reports to ensure meticulous compliance of Church’s financial policy for sound financial management and control of the Church.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all relevant tax returns, including but not limited to Income Tax, VAT and Employment Taxes.
- Liaise with Tax Advisory Firm on more complex tax matters.
- Monitor budget and forecast changes at regular intervals.
- To develop and expand financial strategy of the Church management in order to develop and strengthen the financial capacity of the Church
- Preparation of regular cash flow forecasting and reporting as well as ensuring the maintenance of sufficient funds for Church operational purposes.
- Design and review risk management – risk identification, quantification and mitigation.
Qualification /Requirements
- HND/ BSc/MSc/MBA in Accounting, Banking, Finance/CFA or related field.
- 10 -15 years’ practical experience relating to accounting, finance and auditing activities of a major financial institution / reputed commercial Church with at least 5 (five) years in an executive capacity / departmental head
- ICAN or ANAN Certified or any similar accounting certification.
- Use of Accounting Software SAGE etc..
- Proficient in Microsoft packages e.g MS word & Excel
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Highly organized and Outstanding analytical and time management skills.

Next Generational Leader (Head of School)
We requires the service of Next Generational leaders (Head of school). You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of care, evangelism, spiritual growth and service opportunities for children, teenagers and young adults.
Job responsibilites
- Designs strategies and implements programs for Next Generation leaders (children
- Ensure smooth running of all Next Gen centers and proper care for the charges
- Spiritual guidance for the next generation and helping them know and understand God better.
- Build and grow the number of children, teens and young adult’s ministry.
- Create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome in the children’s, teens and young adult church.
- Ensure small groups are created in these ministries.
- Develop themes, programmes, outreaches.
- Responsible for recruiting, training, equipping and development of leaders and volunteers working in the ministry.
- Provide pastoral leadership to volunteer teams within the unit
- Submit weekly reports to be prepared and forwarded to admin department by stipulated time.
Qualification /Requirements
- HND/BEd in any Education program or any other similar program
- Atleast 5 years’ work experience, preferable as Head of school
- A committed born-again Christian, with a personal and active relationship with God
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- A versatile and good communicator who is passionate about people and have advanced conflict management skills
- Must have pastoral leading.

Brand and Marketing Manager
Job Brief
- The Communications/Brand Manager will create, organize, plan & implement effective communication strategies in order to convey Harvesters’ vision to the appropriate target audience.
- Reporting Relationships Functionally Reports To Head of Operations and Senior Pastor
- Administratively Reports To Head of Operations and Senior Pastor & Supervises Communication Team
- Working Relationships: Internal Heads of Departments, Campus Pastors, Functional Leaders, Volunteers, External Vendors, external consultants etc
- The role will also be responsible for working with our high-profile agencies and managing the end-to-end delivery of events, campaigns and associated projects to ensure that activities meet the church’s objectives.
Key Result/ Responsibility Areas and Job Description Strategy
- Ensure efficient articulation of the specific vision, plans and objectives of the Church.
- Evolve new and innovative strategies for excellent internal and external communications execution.
- Evolve strategies to expand Harvesters to a global brand with reach and products that can be pushed to every continent.
- Evolve strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the communications space in and outside Nigeria to further drive the Church agenda.
- Identify communication gaps in the existing church structure and plug them Work with leadership team to identify priorities and set direction for communications efforts on behalf of Harvesters.
- Managing, planning, directing, controlling and implementing a proactive communication program to enhance the reputation of the church.
- Providing detailed reports of communications activities, including return-on-investment analyses
- Develop and manage the annual communications/marketing budget
- Evolve communications strategies for Harvesters events and special programmes to guarantee the best possible outcome.
Media Management
- Be responsible for planned and coherent approach to the creation of the Church publications.
- Candidate should provide editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all publications.
- Ensure consistent expression across various channels of communication, co-ordinate appearance of all Church’s print and electronic materials.
- Serve as project manager for communication related initiatives.
- Prepare detailed media activity reports.
- Work extensively with the Creative director/Production Manager to provide direction for the production of church media.
- Previews all church multimedia output before broadcasting and/or publishing.
Digital Content Management
- Must provide leadership to the Head, Digital Marketing, to achieve the church’s digital content creation and marketing strategy. This includes but is not limited to: Evolving penetration strategies to take Harvester’s content to other parts of the world.
- Develop a winning strategy to build the church’s online community.
- Ensure alignment with overall communications strategy
- Oversee the content creation on all digital media platforms and ensure cohesion across all other communications platforms.
- Deliver on the church’s objectives to be at the cutting edge of digital media marketing. Leadership
- Manages the Digital media, graphics and communications team with a view to providing leadership, oversight and achieving set goals.
- Responsible for evolving strategies and execution plans for each sub-team.
- Hold weekly and monthly meetings with team members and generate a monthly report on the achievement of set goals.
- Provide assistance and counsel to team members as needed Set the example for an environment of creativity, innovation and problem-solving.
- Establish performance parameters for the team in form of KPIs and periodically provide feedback to ensure enhanced performance.
- Identify the development needs of team members and ensure that these are fulfilled in a planned manner.
- Work with HR to create platforms for knowledge, training, and best practice sharing within the team Identify and deploy programs for improving the engagement level of team members.
- Work with several expressions and volunteer teams to provide needed communications support.
Content Development
- Produce content for distribution through several information channels and platforms.
- Work with Creative director/Production Manager to create and evolve shows, programs, and initiatives that can be used on various channels, including radio, TV and other relevant channels.
PR Management
- This role will work closely with an external PR agency to plan and deliver proactive media relations campaigns, as well as work with them to react to emerging news stories when required.
- PR support will be provided for Harvesters and other sub ministries.
- Develop and deliver a periodic PR strategy with the agency, ensuring alignment between the agency and the Church’s vision and values
- Responsible for the day to day management of the contract and arrangements with the PR agency
- Develop and manage media relations in collaboration with the PR agency and other stakeholders.
- Work with third parties (e.g. volunteer experts) to further enhance the PR of the Church.
Process Management
- Develop and implement systems and procedures necessary for the smooth operation of the communications function
- Be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of Church communication and developing systems for such evaluation
- Ensure proofing and quality assurance and overall adherence to Harvesters brand standards
- Develop and coordinate in-house communications
Competency and Skill Requirement
Academic Qualification,Personal Skills and Work Experience
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, International Relations, Journalism or other related disciplines (Post graduate degree will be a plus)
- Experience working with large, cross-functional teams is desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in communications and media management.
- Agency experience would be a plus.
- Experienced with content management systems, tracking mechanisms and analytics software.
- Solid professional experience required including experience producing digital content and managing social accounts for organisations.
- Experience of writing, editing and producing written communications for targeted audiences.
- Experience producing for the web
- Experience successfully building, coaching, and motivating high performing teams while holding employees accountable
- Experience of setting and working with brand guidelines.
- Understanding of the need for and value of a visual identity and branding.
- Experience leading in a faith-based environment (even if in a volunteer capacity) is very desirable.
- Must have the ability to speak English to an advanced and sophisticated level, both written and verbal.
- Should demonstrate the ability to communicate or engender communications with different people groups to achieve set objectives.
- Must have expert writing and editing skills verifiable at a professional level.
- Be visionary. This person is responsible for setting the direction and the tone of the church’s messaging across all available channels.
