Job Description
- Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
- Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies.
- Conduct physical stock audits on a regular basis as advised by the Internal Auditor and the physical count to be tallied with the inventory count from the MMS – Material Management System.
- Keep accurate recordings of all incoming and outgoing goods.
- Notify the store manager/supervisor of any low stock levels.
- Executing other stock-related duties which may include returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies.
- Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keeping.
- Overseeing and/or exercising general control over all the tools and activities of the store.
- Completing the required paperwork when ordering stock
- Updating stock information on the computer system
- Others Perform any other tasks assigned by the functional Head from time to time,
Prerequisites:
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Have a good eye for detail.
- Familiar with Inventory Management Software.
- Must have basic computer skills for the day to day operation.
- Knowledge of ERP, an added advantage.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business related to inventory management, accounting, Finance, etc.
