Job Description

  • The brand is renowned for exceptional craftsmanship and timeless appeal, catering to fashion-conscious parents who prioritize style and quality.
  • We are seeking an ambitious, strategic and innovative e-commerce manager to drive the growth of the e-commerce channel for Ruff ‘n’ Tumble reporting into the CEO.
  • As E-commerce manager you will be responsible for supporting our omni-channel ambitions by optimizing the website’s performance, enhancing the customer experience, and achieving budgeted sales targets.
  • You will gather and analyze data and customer feedback to improve the conversion funnel and collaborate with product and marketing teams to maximize product potential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead your team to execute a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives
  • Take ownership of and lead the achievement of monthly eCommerce sales targets by monitoring sales performance, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to enhance sales and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the website to improve the customer journey and ensure a seamless premium online shopping experience. Supervise relevant teams (ecommerce, technology, marketing etc.) to drive the development and deployment of improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Marketing and commercial teams to grow online revenue by creating best-in-class content, product descriptions and category landing pages. Ensure coordinated activities when executing digital Campaigns.
  • Monitor and track online inventory levels, conduct regular audits to ensure all product information, inventory levels, and pricing are up to date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams including inventory management and logistics to deliver exceptional customer service. Ensuring prompt order processing, timely product delivery and quick and satisfactory responses to customer inquiries.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and report on ecommerce KPIs, including sales, conversion rates, and customer retention.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • First Degree from a reputable higher institution
  • At least 3 years ecommerce management experience in handling ecommerce operations/administration end to end for a consumer brand.
  • Strong business acumen with analytical skills to monitor performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, and analytics using tools such as google analytics etc.
  • Proficiency with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize product listings accordingly.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team management skills
  • Self-starter with a passion for ecommerce and staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
