Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead and manage our sales team.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, exceptional strategic and tactical sales skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth.
- The Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals, objectives, sales targets and actions
- Set performance goals and provide coaching and feedback to team members. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify client needs and preferences to tailor logistics solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create compelling sales proposals and collateral.
- Implement sales tools, technologies, and CRM systems to support sales operations. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Adjust sales strategies as needed to remain competitive.
- Monitor expenses, analyze budget variances, and make adjustments as needed to achieve financial goals.
- Ensure that all sales activities and transactions adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct within the sales team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Logistics and Transportation, B2B and FMCG
- Strong leadership, Team Development and Management. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies. Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in sales software, CRM systems, and data analysis tools
