  • As a Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by selling BD products across various media platforms, such as print, radio, television, and digital.
  • This role requires strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the media industry.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, advertising, or a related field.
  • At least 3years working experience or B.Sc. with 5years working experience.
  • Proven experience in advertising sales, preferably in a media house or advertising agency.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building successful client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to articulate advertising strategies effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the media industry, advertising principles, and various advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with market research and analytics tools to gather insights and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, sales management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients, including local businesses, corporations, advertising agencies, and other relevant entities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by pitching across various media platforms.
  • Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals, highlighting the benefits and value of advertising in the media house.
  • Negotiate sales rates, terms, and contracts with clients, striving for mutually beneficial agreements.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Understand clients’ goals, target audience, and budgetary constraints to propose suitable solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop effective campaigns that align with their objectives and deliver desired results.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Campaign Coordination and Execution:

  • Work closely with internal teams, such as creative, production, and traffic departments, to coordinate the execution of sales campaigns.
  • Brief the creative team on clients’ requirements and ensure that deliverables are produced to meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Monitor the progress and performance of sales campaigns, making necessary adjustments to optimize results.
  • Track and analyze sales metrics and provide clients with campaign performance reports and insights.

Market Research and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand target audiences, consumer behaviour, and sales trends.
  • Share industry insights and recommendations with clients to help them make informed decisions about their strategies.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM systems or other designated tools.
  • Collaborate with the billing and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment collection from clients.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and industry events to enhance skills, knowledge, and professional development.
