Job Brief
- A Modern Trade Manager is responsible for handling important client accounts in modern trade.
- These accounts ( Supermarkets ) make up the highest percentage of the channel, and always ensure a strong relationship with them is maintained. He/she will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop solid and trusting relationships between major key clients and companies.
- Resolve key client issues and complaints.
- Develop a complete understanding of modern trade needs.
- Anticipate key account changes and improvements.
- Manage communications between key clients and internal teams
- Strategic planning to improve clients’ results
- Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
- Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client
- Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
- Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients
- Manage all merchandisers.
Job Specifications:
- Proven work experience as a Modern Trade Manager or similar sales role
- BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Ability to measure and analyze KPIs & ROI
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to travel as needed
