Salary Range: ₦200,000 – ₦300,000/month

- The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to the logistics leadership team, providing expert guidance on HR policies, talent management, and workforce development.
- The HRBP will work closely with management to align HR initiatives with the company’s operational goals, ensuring optimal staffing, employee engagement, and compliance with regulations.
- This role requires a strong background in HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
Responsibility
- Demonstrates adequate Knowledge and Competency in HR Processes, Planning, HR Report and Analysis.
- Demonstrates knowledge of HR practices, guidelines and regulations to monitor and provide advice regarding compliance with all employment laws, regulations, policies, procedures and processes.
- Establishes on the job Training and Development system that Addresses Company’s training cycle, employee development, coaching and measurement of training impact.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and the needs of the logistics industry.
- Support workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies to meet the evolving demands of the business
- Oversee the performance review process, working with managers to set goals, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement performance management frameworks that drive continuous improvement and employee accountability.
- Management of employee relations: HMO, Pension, NSITF, group life Insurance and other staff welfare issues. Partners with other HR team to develop and facilitate programs to support business corporate objectives and individual development.
- Monitoring the company wages and salary structure, compensation policies and oversees all payment systems including overtime, commission, incentives and bonuses.
- Familiar with Payroll Computations and Statutory deductions.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify workforce challenges and opportunities, and provide insights to senior management.
- Track and report on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, engagement, and performance, to inform business decisions
- Work closely with logistics and supply chain management teams to understand the operational challenges and support HR needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Provide solutions for managing seasonal workforce fluctuations, scheduling, and staff training needs unique to logistics
- Identifies and monitors the organization’s culture to supports the attainment of company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
- Leads more complex special HR projects as assigned by the Management.
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations or Relevant Course of Study.
- Must have at least 5years general HR Experience with at least 3 years’ working experience as a HR Business Partner, ideally in logistics, supply chain, or a similar fast-paced, operational environment.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory compliance, particularly within the logistics industry
- Strong understanding of the logistics industry and its HR challenges, such as high-volume recruitment, workforce scheduling, and retention strategies.
- Ability to align HR strategies with business objectives to drive organizational success.
- Certification in CIPM and / or relevant HR Certification is a must
- Masters Degree in Human Resource Management or Relevant Course is an added advantage.
