Salary Range: ₦300,000 – ₦400,000/month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide information on company policies, benefits, and culture.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary information, resources, and training and a smooth transition into the organization

Employee Records and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Multicultural HR Operations and Engagement:
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives within the work environment.
  • Support various HR functions, such as benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations, across different divisions or business units within the conglomerate
  • Implement strategies to create and foster an inclusive and culturally sensitive workplace.
  • Addressing cultural differences and ensuring a harmonious workplace.

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Facilitate the enrollment and administration of benefit programs.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee concerns and grievances in collaboration with HR management.
  • Promote and foster positive employee relations and a healthy work environment.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training programs and professional development opportunities for employees.
  • Identify training needs and collaborate with managers to address skill gaps.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the performance appraisal process by collecting and organizing performance-related data.
  • Support managers in implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.

Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Assist in the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that employees are aware of and comply with company policies.

Compliance and Legal Matters:

  • Stay informed about labor laws and regulations/agencies relevant to the food manufacturing industry.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws, statutory regulations and agencies.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Facilitate communication between HR, management, and employees.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address HR-related matters and ensure a cohesive approach.

Employee Events and Engagement:

  • Plan and organize employee events and engagement activities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall workplace culture.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive company culture.

Conflict Resolution:

  • Mediate conflicts between employees when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to managers on conflict resolution strategies.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Support initiatives related to workplace safety

Recordkeeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of HR activities and generate reports as needed.
  • Provide HR metrics and data to support decision-making and planning.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other HR professionals and departments to ensure alignment of HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as recruitment agencies or training providers, as needed.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and metrics for HR and management purposes.
