Job Description
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, perform financial forecasting, and analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures to assist in strategic planning.
- Tax Preparation:Handle tax-related tasks, including preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and identifying tax-saving opportunities for the organization.
- Audit Support:Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, answering auditor inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations.
- Account Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements, account balances, and financial discrepancies to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Financial Records:Keep comprehensive and accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure they are up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable:Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
- Perform Monthly Close Activities: Conduct end-of-month close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations to finalize financial statements.
- Prepare Financial Analysis:Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to management for decision-making.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all financial regulations and internal policies, including maintaining necessary documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess B.Sc Degrees with 1 – 2 years relevant work experience.
Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in managing financial records and preparing reports.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
