Administrative Intern at Powerex

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an intern who is interested in starting a career in administration. The person would perform administrative duties and must be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors
  • Answering telephone calls, screening, and forwarding calls
  • Handling basic inquiries
  • Copying, scanning, and filing documents both physical and digital copies.
  • Monitoring office supplies and ordering replacements.
  • Keeping the reception area tidy and observing professional etiquette.
  • Manage correspondence (letters, packages etc.).
  • Create and update records and databases
  • Set up the boardroom for meetings
  • Managing imprest
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
  • Any other duty as assigned.

Requirements

  • NYSC Batch C, 2023 Corps member or OND graduate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Friendly nature
  • Experience in answering and screening calls
  • Experience working with word processing, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Attention to detail.
