Responsibilities
We need an Ambulance Driver at the hospital to:
- Safely operate and maintain ambulance vehicles.
- Transport patients to medical facilities promptly and safely..
- Assist the clinical team during medical emergencies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized ambulance, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Documentation of patient care and transport activities.
- Follow established safety protocols and guidelines.
- Adhere to all relevant local and federal regulations and laws pertaining to ambulance operation and patient care.
- Keep track of all the vehicle papers andensure they are up to date etc.
Requirements
- Minimum academic qualification: SSCE.
- 3 years work experience.
- Must be conversant with the duties of an ambulance driver.
- Proven experience as an ambulance driver or paramedic is an added advantage
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols.
- Excellent driving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to details.
- Emotional intelligence with a high level of confidentiality.
