Amosun Wins Senator-Elect in Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun has been declared the winner of Ogun Central Senatorial district in Ogun state with 88,110 votes.

Amosun who contested on the platform of the All Progressives Congress defeated his close challenger, the African Democratic Congress candidate, Mrs.Titi Oseni-Gomez.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Ayinde Akanbi, declared on Monday that Amosun polled 88,110 votes to while Oseni-Gomez had 37,101 votes.

The result was announced at the collation centre, Centenary Hall, Ake Abeokuta.

Details of other party wins was also decleared by Akanbi, while Mr Solomon Sanyaolu of the PDP polled 33,276 votes, Mr Gbenga Adenmosun of the Allied People’s Movement had 10,039 votes. Solomon Olufemi of the ADP polled 6,510 votes.
