APC NEC dissolves Oshiomhole’s NWC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved the Adams Oshiomhole-led national working committee (NWC) of the party.

The acting national chairman of the party, Victor Giadom, revealed that this was part of decisions taken at the APC national executive council (NEC) meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja, based on the recommendations of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The governor of Yobe state, Mai-Mala Buni was named chairman of the caretaker/extra-ordinary convention committee while the governor of Niger state was appointed as a member and Akpan Udoedehe as secretary.

Other members of the committee are Ken Nnamani, Stella Okorete, James Lalu, Abubakar Yusuf, Akinyemi Olaide, David Leon, Abba Ari, Tahir Mamman and Ismail Ahmed.

The governor was immediately sworn in by the attorney-general of the federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami.
