We are hiring a passionate and experienced Area Sales Manager – Wines & Spirits to increase sales within an assigned geographical area.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth within the wines and spirits category.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold-calling potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, retailers, and hospitality establishments.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions, effectively communicating the value proposition of our wines and spirits products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and initiatives to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to management.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to key clients and stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring timely resolution of any customer issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and accurate invoicing.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND with 5 years’ sales experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
- Territory Management Skills (customer/outlet mapping, call/route plan, volume planning, Market Analysis etc).
- Deep knowledge of the wines and spirits market, industry trends, and key players.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management.
- Must possess good analytical and computing skills.
- Proficiency in Information tracking, Sales analytics and power point presentation.
