Job Description
- Preferred candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall maintenance and functionality of our facilities.
- This role involves overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Oversee and lead a team of maintenance personnel.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s skills.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure efficient facility operation.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Assist in developing and managing the facility maintenance budget.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Obtain competitive quotes for maintenance services and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures for maintenance activities.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate equipment repairs or replacements as needed.
- Explore opportunities for upgrades to improve efficiency.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven years (7-8) of experience as a facility maintenance supervisor or manager.
