Assistant Manager, Facility Maintenance at JMG

Job Description

  • Preferred candidate will be responsible for supporting the overall maintenance and functionality of our facilities.
  • This role involves overseeing maintenance staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Oversee and lead a team of maintenance personnel.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s skills.
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to ensure efficient facility operation.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Assist in developing and managing the facility maintenance budget.
  • Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Obtain competitive quotes for maintenance services and negotiate contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures for maintenance activities.
  • Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Explore opportunities for upgrades to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven years (7-8) of experience as a facility maintenance supervisor or manager.
