Bayern Munich appoints German legend, Miroslav Klose as assistant coach

Bayern Munich has appointed German legend, Miroslav Klose has the club assistant manager under head coach Hansi Flick from next season.

The 41-year-old was unveiled today after signing a one-year contract with the German giants.

Klose said in a club statement “We have known each other very well since our time in the national team and we trust each other both professionally and personally. For me, this is the next step in my career as a coach.”

Klose, who also won two Bundesliga titles, two German Cups, and the Coppa Italia is the German national team’s all-time leading goalscorer with 71 strikes for his country
