Brand Business Manager at Grand Oak Limited

PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To develop, implement, and manage strategies that build and enhance the brand identity of assigned products to ensure the brand remains competitive, aligns with business objectives, and contributes to company profitability.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Initiate annual brand marketing review, budgets, and plans for the brand to ensure alignment with brand marketing objectives of the PSBU.
  • Define brand communication strategy following plan and brand position, to select the most efficient media mix for the portfolio manager.
  • Prepare agency briefs for approval, subsequent evaluation, and assessment of agency creative proposals to ensure that agency partners understand the company’s objectives and deliver creative proposals that effectively align with the brand’s vision and strategic goals, leading to successful marketing campaigns.
  • Create and exploit brand sponsorship platforms, to enhance selected brand health indicators.
  • Propose and lead the development of advertising materials and creative proposals in each stage before final approval by the Prime SBU Director, to ensure the brand message is effectively communicated and achieves marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with the extended Trade Marketing Team to ensure effective sales driver deployment of the brands in all categories of outlets and to drive equity.
  • Document and report activities of the brand and competing brands, to provide comprehensive insights and analysis on the brand’s performance and the competitive landscape, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning to maintain and enhance the brand’s market position.
  • Review brand profitability and track any deviation from estimated profit to ensure the brand remains financially viable and address any discrepancies between actual and projected profits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Minimum requirement: Minimum B.Sc./HND in marketing or its equivalent
  • Added advantage: MBA or post graduate in Marketing

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum requirement: Minimum 5 years cognate experience
  • Added Advantage:
