Job Description

  • Propose, edit, draft and pitch op-eds, letters to the editor, and other written, digital, and broadcast commentary.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies for each thematic area of the organizations work that includes media outreach and social media content creation.
  • Research and write press releases, and content for the company website, infographics, blogs, newsletters and Social Media platforms

Job Overview

  • Responsible for brand building while optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of all elements of the marketing mix.
  • Responsible for Communications management and CSR to ensure value is added to the company’s brand.

Brand Management:

  • Provides expertise to the company in relation to brand development and maintains an awareness of any relevant developments in the field.
  • Provides support in the development of advertising/communication concepts in support of brand-building initiatives that can be successfully executed in the marketplace.
  • Develops and manages brand-specific promotions based on needs and lifestyle to achieve specific market objectives.
  • Develops initiatives to increase customers satisfaction
  • Helps raise the company’s media profile and positioning as well as monitoring reputation and press mentions
  • Oversees the development of content for press releases, articles, and news bulletins, with minimal editing from senior colleagues
  • Develops exceptional grasp of the business, its style, and priorities, and works in close cooperation with all relevant departments, particularly marketing
  • Assists in delivering marketing and PR plans in support of the corporate marketing strategy and takes responsibility for the implementation of plans with minimal supervision
  • Brings news ideas to the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Bring new innovations to grow the business portfolio.
  • Provides input into brands strategy review
  • Developing brand strategies based on the client’s brief and objectives.
  • Coordinating ideation and brainstorming sessions both for the organization and for client briefs.
  • Developing brand positioning and architecture strategies and documents.
  • Conducting market research to generate insights into the organization’s sector, brand strength, and SWOT analysis for better brand positioning for the brand and clients
  • Analyze consumer insights, crafting plans for our creative team and developing guidelines to promote our clients’ brand various channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4 – 8 years experience in a marketing / advertising agency
  • Verifiable evidence of brand strategy competencies
  • Sound understanding of advertising strategy
  • At least 3 years in brand strategy or management role.
