Job Summary
- As a Brand & Communications Manager at Pulse, you will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the brand’s image, overseeing communication strategies, and driving engagement across various channels. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments to ensure a cohesive brand message and enhance Pulse’s presence in the media and marketing landscape.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen Pulse’s market position.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all platforms and materials.
- Organize and manage brand events, and ensure senior leadership is present/speaks at industry events.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with all relevant stakeholders, internal and external partners to enhance brand presence
- Plan and execute campaigns to promote brand initiatives, monitoring and adjusting as needed.
- Actively propose and help implement innovative strategies that help to meet/ exceed the company’s overall revenue and profit targets.
Communication and PR Management:
- Craft and manage external communications including press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and public statements.
- Maintain relationships with media contacts for positive coverage and manage PR crises.
- Manage Pulse’s corporate social media pages; create, curate, and distribute content relevant to our corporate target audience across all assigned social media channels (Brand listening and media monitoring included)
- Develop and execute strategic PR plans for positive brand image and media coverage.
- Create content plans for the Pulse website that showcase client success and satisfaction stories in various formats, written and video, to build credibility for Pulse and reach more potential customers (work closely with the Sales and Content teams to source content for online promotion such as photos, videos, case studies, brand campaigns, etc.)
- Implement both external and internal communications strategies, working with stakeholders to support employees and build the company’s reputation as a good employer.
- Work closely with senior leadership to implement an effective media press release strategy for communicating exciting partnerships, product launches/updates, and any other relevant information that increases our brand exposure and builds credibility.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Align content strategy with overall brand objectives, working closely with editorial, social media, and video teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify content opportunities, coordinate campaigns, and ensure platform consistency.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving analytics methodologies to enhance skills and knowledge continually.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3-4 years experience.
- Proven experience in brand management and communications, preferably within the advertising industry.
- Strong connections/relationships with media houses, corporate event partners and PR agencies.
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in social media management and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
