President Muhammadu Buhari has casted his vote in the early hour of the day at his polling unit Kofar Baru ward 003 in Dura, Katsina State.
The president’s convoy was said to have arrived at Kofar Baru ward 003 earlier than 8am with his wife and both of them moved straight to the polling unit to cast their ballots.
The process was a simple step that only lasted for about 5 minutes. Other polling units across the state witnessed a large turnout of voters.
He, however, expressed satisfaction at the voting process across the country so far.
The president also applauded the independent national electoral commission after he cast his ballot.
