Buhari, Security Chiefs meet in Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting behind closed-doors with Service Chiefs and other heads of security agencies at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting was said to have started about 11am, however the agenda of the meeting was not yet revealed to the public.

Meanwhile InsideOjodu gathered that the agenda of the meeting might probably be focused on the security situation in the country and how to ensure maximum security ahead of Saturday’s governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections across the country.

All the Service Chiefs; Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonishakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Yusuf Buratai, Chief of Naval Staff, Ibok-Ete IIbas, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar, were present.

Also present at the meeting include the National Security Adviser, Major Gen. Babagana Monguno, Director of National Intelligence Agency, the Director General, Department of Security Service and Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu.

The Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dangazzau and the Minister of Defence, Brigadier Gen. Mansur Dan-Ali was also present at the meeting.
