President Muhammadu Buhari to give his Independence Day address on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7am.
This is part of activities to mark the 61st anniversary celebration of Nigeria’s nationhood.
This according to a statement titled, ‘October 1 independence anniversary: President Buhari to broadcast to the nation’ by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina on Thursday evening.
“As part of activities marking the 61st Independence Anniversary of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 7am”, he said.
“All television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, respectively, for the address”, the statement added.
