Buhari’s aide urges Christians in Akwa Ibom to join politics

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Ita Enang, has encouraged Christians in Akwa Ibom State to join politics and contribute their quota to the development of the country.

Enang stated this in his acceptance speech after he was honoured with Hope Waddel Award as ‘The Patriarch’ of Men’s Christian Association of The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, at the 2012 Biennial International Conference held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital on Saturday.

“I urged Christians to engage yourselves in politics,” Enang said.
