The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has declared the frequent foreign trips of President Muhammadu Buhari as a political jamboree.
The President General of AYCF, Yerima Shettima, who spoke in an exclusive with Daily Post, said Nigeria was in for a doom under Buhari’s led administration, adding that Nigerians need to be wary of the highlights projected of Buhari’s trip to Russia.
While urging Nigerians to start looking inward to come up with ideas that can move the country forward, Shettima maintained that there was no time Buhari traveled abroad and came back with anything good.
He said: “There has never been any time Buhari traveled out of this country and came back with anything good. I have come to a level where I don’t believe in anything I hear or see online by this President until I see it physically.
“It is one thing for them to discuss something and later come forward to tell you a different thing. So I have come to the conclusion that I don’t get carried away by mere issues of prospects by this administration.
“A prospect is something you are looking forward to in the future and I do not see anything about all Buhari’s jamboree trips abroad.
“Nigeria is in for a doom under this administration and it’s high time Nigerians began to look inward, began to think so that we can reflect and begin to come up with a genuine cause that will move this country forward.”
