Purpose of Job

  • The Business Analyst is responsible for performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing project monitoring on new and existing projects. To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to business users.

Functionally reports to: Project Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing data and analysis that support monitoring corporate performance, and ascertain progress toward the attainment of stated company’s objectives and projects
  • Creating status reports against budget/ target/ milestone to determine progress towards attaining objectives
  • Review Group’s processes with C-level executives quarterly or as the need arises
  • Conduct research and analysis on market information necessary for business goals
  • Identify internal and external strategic initiatives to drive Organizational strategy
  • Deliver and discuss findings with our GMs and other line Managers to support process improvements – where applicable
  • Work to help develop and research best in class practices for the Organisation
  • Collaborate with the team to develop a strategic roadmap for needs, partnerships and industry trends
  • Document analysis, activities and create internal communications
  • Work on projects as assigned by Manager
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Key Comptency Requirements

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Assist in defining the project business case
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Map out tasks including the use of project management software such as Zoho
  • Manage deliverables according to the plan, using effective tracking and follow up methods
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Gather requirements from business units or users
  • Document technical and business requirements
  • Verify that project deliverables meet the requirements
  • Establish a project schedule and determine each phase
  • Provide regular updates and reports to upper management
