Job Description:
- The Business and Operations Analyst will play a critical role in driving strategic decision-making and operational improvements across the organization.
- You will work closely with various departments to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend actionable solutions to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
- Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing business strategies by providing insights based on data analysis and market research.
- Financial Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
- Market Research: Conduct market and competitive analysis to understand trends, customer needs, and industry developments.
- Project Management: Lead or support cross-functional projects to drive business growth and operational efficiency. Coordinate with various departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze business performance against strategic goals, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis, operations, management consulting, or a similar role, preferably in a startup environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python.
- Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
