Business Development Manager at House of Tara International

Job Brief

  • We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing and managing the House of Tara Makeup School.

Responsibilities

  • Build the presence of the school inclusive of its social media pages
  • Monitoring calls of prospects
  • Ensure that the makeup school achieves or surpasses its targets such as publicity, revenue generation among others
  • Ensure that the school generates quality leads that become active clients
  • Build strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders that will drive revenue
  • Review, implement and monitor the makeup school calendar/curriculum
  • Monitor exams held across the makeup schools
  • Monitor the makeup school instructors to ensure they comply with laid down policies
  • Ensure students comply to all school policies
  • Ensure certificates are printed and sent on time to all locations
  • Ensure school result for students are collated and sent to all students
  • Update the makeup school database
  • Receive weekly feedback from both students and Instructors
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Coordinate periodic instructors’ retreat
  • Supervise the work activities of the school instructors and manage their performance
  • Ensure that quality training is passed across all makeup schools of HOTi
  • Prepare budgets, policies and events for the makeup schools
  • Work with team to provide solution for specific or immediate problems or needs as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to you from time to time

Requirements

  • A minimum of a University Degree
  • At least 4 years proven experience as a Business Development/ Sales Manager/ Makeup School Instructor
  • Knowledge of administrative processes
  • Knowledge of makeup trends and its industry
  • Creative skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Business oriented and performance targets driven
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills
  • Strategic thinker and implementer
  • Outstanding organizational ability
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to make good judgment.
