We seek a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, generate leads, acquire clients, and contribute to revenue growth. The role requires strategic planning, market analysis, relationship building, and collaboration with the internal team to achieve organizational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through various channels, including market research, client referrals, and networking.
- Generating leads and cultivating relationships to build a strong pipeline of potential clients through proactive outreach and cold calling.
- Actively pursue and close deals with potential clients, meeting sales targets and contributing to revenue growth.
- Conducting market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business development opportunities.
- Developing and implementing strategic business plans to achieve organizational objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Preparing and presenting business proposals that align with client needs and company objectives.
- Negotiating terms and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners to secure mutually beneficial relationships.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach to business development.
- Working on strategies to retain existing clients and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Providing regular reports and updates on business development activities, achievements, and challenges to management.
- Exploring opportunities for market expansion and geographical growth.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 4 years in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing large contracts.
- Strong understanding of the industry, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills are imperative to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.
- Results-oriented with a demonstrable focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Experience in document management controls.
