Business Development Officer at Seindeo Limited

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Freelance Business Development Manager to support our technical team in expanding into new markets and driving business growth.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5years experience in marketing, business development, and client relationship management, preferably in the B2B market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities in the water industry including emerging technologies, new markets, industry trends and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies to promote the company’s services in the water treatment industry.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and communicate the company’s value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to produce content that will inform and educate the market on the company’s capabilities.
  • Identify potential clients, projects, and partnerships in the water industry for business growth.
  • Schedule business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals on new businesses.
  • Analyze competitors and provide insights to refine the company’s strategies and offerings.
  • Enhance brand visibility through strategic partnerships, public relations efforts, and digital marketing.
  • Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, sales pipeline, and business development progress to the Managing Director.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and client needs.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in any field (Science background preferably but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in marketing and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Result driven and Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing skills and other collaboration platforms.
