Business Optimization Specialist at Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company

Job Description

  • Leverage on technology, innovation and marketing to develop strategies and implement that can help achieve the maximum revenue requirement of Ikeja Electric as contained in Ikeja Electric approved tariff order.
  • Leverage on technology, innovation and marketing to develop and implement strategies and initiatives that can help generate revenue from non-electricity sources.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the Business in the acquisition of MD key accounts and ensuring the timely implementation of network transformation initiatives to drive positive energy growth and business outcomes.
  • Responsible for the cross functional onboarding of MD Key accounts customers; development, marketing and sales of value added services for positive impact on the bottom-line.
  • Ensure all pre-sales documentations (including lead reports, demand pipeline, projected energy consumption, engineering design layout etc) are indexed, stored and accessible for review.
  • To provide professional value based sales inputs to the creation and maintenance of business enablement sales strategy and plan that will deliver shareholder value.
  • To direct sales efforts for the acquisition of MD key accounts within the framework of agreed account development plans that meet operational targets for revenues, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Increase company revenue by daily prospecting of new customers and creating more business opportunities from existing MD key accounts customers.
  • Carry full responsibility for the fulfillment of the sales process – from lead generation to the first bill generation and delivery.
  • Perform continuous analysis of the relevant industry, to identify new prospects or opportunities for the business development department.
  • Maintain excellent partnership-relationships with customers, based on trust and an in-depth understanding of the customer’s business and industry trends.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of the customer’s operating environment, business drivers, ambitions, issues, problems and stumbling blocks so as to be able to develop and implement energy solutions to meet their strategic corporate needs.
  • Assist customers in understanding the value proposition and differentiations of the IE brand and services.
  • Continuously seek self-professional development to sharpen skills and capabilities in a versatile and evolving digital landscape.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform any other duty as may be communicated by line manager
