Call-Over Officer at Chemical and Allied Products – CAP Plc

Requirements:

• We are seeking a graduate in accounting or a related field with 3-4 years of manufacturing experience, ICAN student membership, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and
• PowerPoint, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a plus). Knowledge of macroeconomic indexes is required.

Responsibilities:

• Review Accounting Systems: Assist in reviewing the accounting system and internal controls by daily calling over processed/ posted documents.
• Evaluate Internal Controls: Examine, review, evaluate, and report on the adequacy of internal controls, making recommendations to management on control lapses to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct Compliance Tests: Perform continuous compliance tests to ensure controls operated satisfactorily and business operations adhere to the company’s code Of business principles.
• Audit Operations: Implement audit tests to review the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of operations, and evaluate the functioning of non-financial controls.
• Risk Monitoring: Monitor the business environment to safeguard against waste, fraud, and avoidable loss, and participate in stock counts and spot checks as directed by the Team Lead, Risk & Compliance.
• Reporting: Generate monthly call-over reports for the Team Lead’s action and conduct special investigations as requested by management.
