Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Local Sales Staff. The primary scope of work for this position involves managing shipping bulk cargo double cleaning business and facilitating whole container and Air Freight shipping business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the local professional market, and the ability to develop relationships with individual shops, stalls, and small B customers.
Responsibilities:
Manage Shipping Bulk Cargo Double Cleaning Business:
- Develop and maintain relationships with individual shops, stalls, and small business customers in the local professional market.
- Collect shipping bulk business orders, including goods purchased from Guangzhou, China, and other locations to the Nigeria station.
- Arrange transportation of bulk goods into containers for weekly shipment to Lagos.
- Oversee customs clearance processes and ensure timely delivery of cargo to the company’s warehouse.
- Notify consignees to pick up goods after unpacking.
- Track and report on shipping bulk business performance, including the number of cubic meters collected.
Facilitate Whole Container and Air Freight Shipping Business:
- Identify and develop relationships with large local trader customers interested in whole container and Air Freight shipping services.
- Promote whole container and Air Freight shipping services to potential customers and secure new business opportunities.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to arrange sea cargo and air cargo shipments.
- Calculate commissions for whole container and Air Freight shipping business based on each container (for sea cargo) and per kilogram (for air cargo).
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred, with a major in international trade and logistics preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry, with international logistics sales experience highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the local professional market and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Age between 22 and 35 years.
