- The Chief Information Officer will plan, coordinate, direct and design all technology services as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations of the organization.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategy to meet the organization’s short- and long-term goals and objectives
- Ensure optimal design, build, functionality and adoption of EMR solutions, and supporting software products and solution.
- Provide leadership and operational management of all physical IT infrastructure.
- Develop IT business plan and budget, and control operational budget and expenditures
- Lead strategic and operational IT governance processes
- Develop and enforce policy and procedures to ensure the protection of the systems’ IT assets and the integrity and privacy of information entrusted to or maintained by the systems
- Ensure the organizations alignment with all applicable data privacy and protection regulations
- Ensure best practices and expertise in all areas of data security
- Lead and coordinate risk assessment activities to assess information security risks, prioritize risks, and identify improvements.
- Provide leadership, knowledge, and technology support to deliver efficient data capture, and data analytics to support clinical, operational and commercial strategic decisions
- Position the organization as an industry leader in the digitization of the patient journey, and delivery of world-class patient experience

Job Qualification
- BSc. or MSc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or Relevant Business degree is an added advantage.
- One or more of the following IT related certifications will be desired: MCSE, OCP, CITP, MCSA, ITILv3 and Information Security Certification Tracks.
- 10+ years of increasingly responsible experience in ERP/Enterprise Application systems, analysis and design.
- Deep understanding of health services operations / products knowledge, an expert technical knowledge in software development as well as depth in computer hardware handling capabilities are essentials abilities required in the position.
