Mrs Christy Uba has taken over as the acting Director-General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
She is currently the Director of Information and Communications Technology and the most senior director.
This was according to a statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa on Tuesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to appoint a substantive Director-General soon.
The President sacked the former DG, Brig.-Gen. Muhammad Fadah, last week.
Fadah assumed duty as the 19th head on May 18, 2022, succeeding Maj.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim.
