Responsibilities:
Hotel cleaners have a wide range of responsibilities but you are charged with the responsibility of;
- Vacuuming the floors and shampooing carpets or deep cleaning floors using a steam cleaner
- Cleaning the pool toilet, Bar, swimming pool areas and the outer premises of the Hotel.
- Cleaning and sterilizing toilet & bathrooms including removing hair from drains, cleaning toilets, and scrubbing tubs and showers
- Dusting furniture, cleaning mirrors and windows, replacing light bulbs, and removing cobwebs
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms in the public places
- Spot cleaning walls, baseboards, and removing stains from carpets
- Cleaning walls and ceilings to remove spots, smudges, and other blemishes
- Cleaning upholstery, blinds, drapes, and other soft furnishings using specialized equipment such as a steam cleaner or vacuum with
- Cleaning and maintaining hotel lobby, corridors, rooms, pool side and external premises.
- Provide concierge services and delivers supplies to guests, upon request.
- Greets all guests and answer them in a polite and prompt manner.
- Find and return abandoned and lost items to appropriate hotel department.
- Monitor and maintain inventory-level of cleaning tools and supplies.
Requirements:
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Prior experience as a cleaner in an (hospitality industry)- optional.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Work well unsupervised.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
- Hard worker.
- Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on holidays, as required.
