Cleaner at SkyRock Hotels

Responsibilities:

Hotel cleaners have a wide range of responsibilities but you are charged with the responsibility of;

  • Vacuuming the floors and shampooing carpets or deep cleaning floors using a steam cleaner
  • Cleaning the pool toilet, Bar, swimming pool areas and the outer premises of the Hotel.
  • Cleaning and sterilizing toilet & bathrooms including removing hair from drains, cleaning toilets, and scrubbing tubs and showers
  • Dusting furniture, cleaning mirrors and windows, replacing light bulbs, and removing cobwebs
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms in the public places
  • Spot cleaning walls, baseboards, and removing stains from carpets
  • Cleaning walls and ceilings to remove spots, smudges, and other blemishes
  • Cleaning upholstery, blinds, drapes, and other soft furnishings using specialized equipment such as a steam cleaner or vacuum with
  • Cleaning and maintaining hotel lobby, corridors, rooms, pool side and external premises.
  • Provide concierge services and delivers supplies to guests, upon request.
  • Greets all guests and answer them in a polite and prompt manner.
  • Find and return abandoned and lost items to appropriate hotel department.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory-level of cleaning tools and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any relevant discipline
  • Prior experience as a cleaner in an (hospitality industry)- optional.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently.
  • Work well unsupervised.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
  • Hard worker.
  • Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on holidays, as required.
