Job Description

  • The Company Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of company personnel, clients, and/or materials to designated locations.
  • This role requires adherence to all traffic laws and company policies, as well as a commitment to maintaining a clean and well-maintained company vehicle.

Responsibilities
Safe Vehicle Operation:

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.1
  • Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals.

Transportation Duties:

  • Transport company personnel, clients, and/or materials to various locations as directed.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers.
  • Ensuring the car is properly managed and well taken care of.
  • Ensure the car is clean and comfortable for all rides.

Vehicle Maintenance:

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., checking fluid levels, and tire pressure).
  • Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the company vehicle.
  • Ensure that the vehicle has adequate fuel.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Complete and submit trip logs and other required documentation.
  • Report any accidents or incidents promptly.

Professional Conduct:

  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Provide excellent customer service to passengers and clients.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a professional capacity.

Skills:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws.
  • Strong navigational skills and familiarity with local roads and routes.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Ability to use navigation applications on smart phones.
  • Ability to maintain time management.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate loads.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific types of vehicles (e.g., vans, truck)
